Hugs and kisses

Like I always do, I observe events happening around me. I feel that being observant is a great way of learning.

This afternoon, I saw a young couple, around my age, showing public affection in the train. They were really passionate, but I shall not go into details. Perhaps to us, we are so used to seeing all these everyday and are immune to it. It is quite a usual sight, especially at secluded areas like parks, car parks, void decks, trains, a corner of the school etc etc…

From a woman’s point of view, I don’t see the need to display too much public affection. A light peck on the cheek or lip, holding hands and hugging is alright. But for those deep sensational kissing, patting and touching, I think they should not be done under the close scrutiny of public.

So is the couple trying to show how deep they love each other through their actions?? I shall let you decide.

I believe that love has to be felt from the heart. It can be seen from little thoughts and actions too. Kissing, hugging and holding hands are more like physical ways of expressing oneself. They are actions, or rather intimate actions for love to blossom. It is sad that some people do not realize that little actions, such as helping him tidy his room, or whipping up a meal for her are also indirect ways of expressing love. I just want to emphasis that kissing, hugging and holding hands are not love. They are the tools of love.

In my past relationship, there only involve holding hands. No hugging, kissing or any hanky panky…. When I told my friends about it, they were kinda stunned. That’s because, people always have the impression that a couple should hug and kiss and do whatever they see in those tv drama.

To me, love is scared. I will save the best to that special someone I am very sure of. If possible, I only wish to have a single relationship that will lead to a blissful marriage. Then finally spend my entire life with that special person. It might sound ridiculous and so fairy-tale-like because we cannot predict what might happen tomorrow. As nothing is forever and love is blind, we can only guess what might happen next. Still, I cherish myself and when I finally found my Mr Right, he will definitely have the entire me.

A friend once said that men are shallow creatures. Somehow, I do not have a clear stand to this statement. Men do have their sensitive and emotional side. Likewise, they are precarious. It is up to us to decide which category they fall into. Sound like an open ended question rite?

A little advice from me:

For the girls: Cherish yourself….
For the guys: Behave yourself!!! Haha! no offense k.

Some people might disagree with my opinions, but do not freak… they are jus my personal opinions. Your job is to read them. Hahaha!!!

3 tests next week… mugging time.
