Battle with the cockroach

I was home late yesterday and after a nice, warm shower, I was drying my hair in my room. I opened the windows so that my room will not be that stuffy. In an instance, something flew in but I didn’t really bother because I was dead beat.

After a few seconds, it began to fly all over my room. In my horror, I realized that was a cockroach!!! I sped out from my room and rushed into the kitchen, looking desperately for weapons.

Armed with a broom and a bottle of shieldtox, I declared war with that cockroach.

I aimed and sprayed as much toxic gas as I could, determined to send it off to hell. But the cockroach simply refused to die!! Perhaps my shieldtox had expired. I think many pests nowadays are resistant to pesticides. Oh no, so how am I going to kill cockroaches in the future?

I slapped the cockroach with my broom and it stopped moving. Just when I thought it was dead, it dashes towards my feet, making one last attack in its last desperate moment. But, I was too fast and too vicious. I sprayed another cloud of toxic gas and finally, it rested in peace.

I sent it off into the rubbish bin and by now, I think it had been cremated at the rubbish collection center. May the cockroach rest in peace.

Surprisingly, no family member was awaken by that war….
