Updates….

I had not been updating my blog for a few days and that is so unlike me. For the whole of this week, I had been out everyday, catching up with friends and it was a truly great week!!

To summarize it all, I had a total of 3 class gatherings, ktv session, 2 movies, went to the zoo, temple and rus’s house.

Yesterday, I went back to work. It was the place that I had my very first job about 2 years back. Things had changed slightly but most of the people I knew still work there. They looked the same and the place was very well furnished with Christmas deco.

My colleagues told me that I had grown up and looked more beautiful than before. Hahaha!!! *shy* They bombarded me with lots of questions and I felt so loved!!

I was quite surprised by the way they react when I said I was studying in university. To them, it was like an unreachable dream. But to us, it is all crap. We kept complaining how much pressure we were under during the exam period. But, we forgot that we enjoy holidays that could stretch for months. For them, they only enjoy 14 days of leave per year.

Perhaps the person that had undergone the greatest degree of transformation is my boss. He used to be a monster, and the office was the most frightening place in the entire club house. But yesterday, he was in super good mood and kept talking to me. He even took an afternoon nap and snored. I was bizarre and asked the chef what had caused the change in him. Then, I understand. He just got married last week, and that was the main reason why he is in such high spirit.
See that? Marriage can really change a person!!

Basically, I was not doing anything yesterday, just getting used to the place again. Next week, I will be officially working from 9 to 6, in proper office attire and get myself pissed by members. Anyway, it will just be a week of part time and I will take it as a chance to top up my bank account since it is well-drained right now.

The brown box

My mum was home late on Thursday, and a box left at our gate aroused her suspicion. She was so frightened and thought that the terrorist had planted a bomb at her door step. She woke me up in the middle of the night and asked me to call the police. I was stunned because the box really really looked suspicious….who is interested to blow up my house??

If it was the postman, he should have knocked on the door right? But, it was sitting there, in the middle of the night. I gathered all my courage and turned the box around. I was the intended recipient.

It is not a bomb, but something that is sweeter than honey, sugar or nectar…. Hahaha!!!
