I am a student, all over again

Where was I a year ago?? A recent email from Gilles reminded me that we had known each other for a year now. The memories of France were still fresh and the green pasture still smells good. Not forgetting the icy cold wind and the unusual encounters along the trip.



That’s how fast time flew by. I had concluded my Year 3 yesterday when I packed my things and left the office for the last time. After weeks of countdown, the day finally arrived. HOLIDAY!!!!

My last week at work was hectic, but fun!! Probably due to the fact that my 22 weeks “jail term” was coming to an end, and there were 2 farewell parties to celebrate the regaining of my freedom!! Besides a photo whoring sessions with my 2 god-sisters; there were countless tea breaks where I made my own milo dinosaur and numerous talking-cock sessions with my boss. How can that not be fun??

I also tried my best to be late for work, because I just feel like doing something for the first time. It was thrilling!! I signed in late for 2 consecutive days, but boss broke my record and came in later than me. =(

The last trip home was tough, seriously. It was sunny yet raining, and I had to lug with me so many things. I had to bring home 2 big umbrellas, 2 jackets, a bottle of hand lotion, a face mirror, a mouse cushion, a file, a cup, my handphone charger, IA logbook and notebook, and a farewell gift. I looked as though my boss just fired me and I had to pack up and leave on the spot.

But well, I still made it home.

Guess what I got as my final farewell gift……




Very unique, isn’t it?? Hahaha!!!

For now, I am a student, all over again.
