Share your joy, double your joy.
That phase applies when you share your joy with the correct person. Life had been plain ever since IA started. As you may have already known, I am allowed to msn during office hour, but that may not be a good thing….
Yesterday was a Friday. I was full of smile because the week was almost over, and I would be hitting town in the evening. To add on to my happiness, my boss told me that he would be away in a meeting for the rest of the afternoon!!!
He said that, locked the door behind him, and left. His msn status was still online.
On my side, I had a few windows of conversations going on, including the conversation with my boss. I was over the moon and needed to share my joy!! My mind was filled with my boss’s name and so, I clicked on his window and stupidly wrote this:
“Yeah!!!!!!!!!!!! Boss says he will be away the whole afternoon!!!! Hahahahaha!!!!” and send.
AAARRRGGGHHHHHhhhh….. I am so amazed by my foolishness that my jaws dropped to the floor!!!
Too late. The message had already been sent, and there is no way to retrieve back. (That’s what I hate most about msn!!) I was stunned for 5 seconds before coming back to reality. I felt like an idiot, sitting there and laughing discreetly by myself.
Well, since the damage had already been done, all I could do is try to neutralize it. So, after some serious and deep thoughts, I wrote this:
“Oops!! Wrong window!! Actually I am not THAT happy that you’ll be away the entire afternoon….. just slightly…..”
After that, I prayed that he would not be back by 6, and by the time I left, he’s not back yet!! I wonder if he would be laughing with me or laughing at me for my foolishness. This is only the fifth week and I screwed up my IA already!!
On Monday, I shall present to boss my most innocent smile. =)

HAHAHA. This is a Classic situation indeed. I've had my Fair share; not on msn but rather having the 'boss' or person standing behind me. That's a whole lot worse.

wow, u amaze me with ur foolishness again. 1st was sch of power, now this .lol.... dont worry la, bosses wont scold pretty gals one, especially pretty IA students. haha...
Hahaha!!! Yup!!! I was really shocked when I realized what I had done. My boss didn't scold me though, he was laughing at me instead...
Anyway, he gave me a personal angbao on top of the company's angbao!!!
Long live, Boss!!! hahaha!!!
