The past few days were really enjoyable and we were celebrating zinc’s birthday at a chalet. My friends are truly fun-loving people and I really enjoyed myself. We watched the planes fly, the sun rise, the kittens sleep, had pillow fight, BBQ, stay up throughout the night and learnt a few poker games. Ash and I were crowned the new gambling queens because we were the “almost unbeatable” and just too powerful!!! Guess that was our beginner’s luck….
The only thing that ash and I were not too pleased about was that we saw someone we dislike. He was the one who kept claming that he is a gentleman, offering me and ash a lift to the chalet. So what if he has a car?? Stop sucking up to us, and pulling us down with your “big car”!!! We won’t appreciate it so Get Lost!!
Well, I shall not waste my time bitching about him today because he does not worth my time.
Again, that is not what I want to blog about today.
I recalled that I was chatting with fat-ass-albert the other day and we came by a topic on man’s tear. He is a man and he thinks that guys should not shed tears because it makes them look like a wimp. He believed that no matter how tough the situation he is in, he must hold back his tears.
However, I think otherwise.
What if one day, a guy failed in his career, lost his parents or loved ones, can he cry??
I remembered that when I was pretty young, my grandmother past away. On the morning before cremation, the entire family, majority guys, was crying wholeheartedly. It was a touching scene and many other friends were influenced as well. Do we call guys who cry - wimps then??
Traditionally, our grandparents and parents would stop their sons from crying because they believe that men are of the tougher gender and they should act that way. Some men held this belief seriously because they were afraid of being shamed, and that might make them feel dick-less. Thus, they would rather swallow their tears than tarnishing their pride.
Emotions are the gift from god. Isn’t it unfair to deprive the guys from expressing their feelings through this channel?? Personally, I do not feel that crying would make a guy less “man” but instead, I admire their courage to put down their pride and express their feelings. Guys look sexy when they cry… *wink* Of course, I am not implying that guys should cry over pea size issues, but I hate guys who are unwilling to put down their ego. I call them the male chauvinist pigs.
Since woman had always wanted equality between the man and woman, in terms of social status and blah blah blah…. and if woman can cry, why can't man?? And if you still believe that crying is a girl’s thing, you don’t belong to this era. Crying is definitely not a girl’s thing; it belongs to anyone and everyone who has emotions, even animals. So girls, you have no right to laugh at your crying guy friends, unless he is really dick-less.
Andy Lau once sang this song - 男人哭吧不是罪

Was quite touched that got gers who understand why guys have the right to cry. YES!!! FINALLY!!!
In this fast paced society, everydae we encounter problems, challenges, emotionally, physically and mentally. Thus in this era, dun expect men to still act like men of steel in all situations. Yeah, maybe when we break a bone we wun cry. But when emotions get high, crying is a good way to let go, admit what we have lost and many more. So dun think a man who cries is a wimp or a crybaby. There are many more reasons why we will shed tears.
Moreover, there is a girl who once told mi this," 会哭的男人, 坏不到哪里去。”Which i believe whole-heartedly.
I believe guys have the right to cry... and i seriously do!!!
