It’s holiday again!!!

It is the time of the year to let my hair down, do whatever I have yet to accomplished and enjoy life to the fullest!!! It is the time to sleep and wake up late, watch TV into the night and go out and have some fun. Alright, I shall have a little self discipline and try to minimize my spending; else I would be starting 2007 with a bomb-blasted pocket.

Mum had been bugging me to clean the house, and I really dread doing household chores especially cleaning the floor. It is never clean, no matter how many times I mop it!! I wonder why… do you know why??

Since I am in the holiday mood, let’s blog about happier stuff. Last Tuesday after my last paper, I was at one of the coffee house along Tiong Bahru having steamboat dinner with some friends. I never knew neighborhood steamboat can be so delicious, and I would strongly recommend it!!! *thumbs up*

On my way home after dinner, we bypass some really old but nice houses dated back to the 50s. It was like walking through time, bringing back old time memories that were once so dear. The houses look exactly like the houses my grandparents used to stay – the buildings were short, with backdoor, backyard and pathways where the lights shone dimly in the night. I like to walk around places that I can relate to. It is like looking back at your life and seeing the many beautiful images of your childhood… But a damned cockroach left me and ash screaming and fretting, spoiling the entire atmosphere!!!

Just now, I had dinner and was hanging around my old neighborhood. It was the place I grew up and it had definitely brought back many of my childhood memories. We were taking a stroll around the area and we happened to bypass the place I used to go regularly for my ballet lesson, wushu classes and the playground that I once fall badly. It no longer looks the same. New walls were built; old gates were demolished and a new eatery sprung up on the very spot I used to wait for my mum after lessons.

Then, we sat down and glaze at the stars (there weren’t many, just 2). We had a nice chat and I was asked about the previous entries that I wrote. Well, I was quite reluctant to give more details as I believe that certain things just have to be kept private. It is Private!!!
Just like the way you don’t go around flashing your private part at people, you don’t tell others every little about yourself and your family, right?? Ok, it sounded quite wrong… hahaha!!!

Well, the whole point of keeping a blog is to display all that crap that life had inflicted on you, and whatever nonsense about yourself. I know my limits in writing and there are just things that shouldn’t be displayed and I wouldn’t say, get it?? As I was talking to jh on msn a moment ago, he told me he had stopped blogging because he had caused others and himself to get hurt. Well, I really wonder what he wrote in his blog. Isn’t it sad to be living a life for others, blogging stuff that is not truly you, but just for the sake of pleasing others and for them to see?? Ok, that’s my personal opinion, back to my games!!!
